Rear seat brackets wanted

Unread post by Bart1015 » April 7th, 2016, 9:26 am

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a take off lower rear seat bracket set.

This would be the pivot point and the "ledge" where the front sides of the seat frame rest when the seat is down (in the usable position). I do not need the spring clip that holds the seat back up.

The brackets do not have to be pretty, just usable.

Thanks

Brett

It sounds like he is working on an A1 and also needs the front seat rests.

Sorry guys, I have not not checked the post in a few days.

I am looking for the brackets to make a free standing seat frame for an extra rear seat I have. It really does not matter if A1 or A2 brackets.

Initially, I wanted to bolt the seat frame to the wall using the pivot brackets and a fabricated frame in in my shop. The seat would fold up when not in use, much like the GPW/MB rear seat. I wanted to make it for use with a typical card table.

Now, I have decided to make the frame free standing so I can move it around. I am making the frame so it can be assembled/disassembled with pins.

Halftracknut, Ill send you a pm.

Thank you

I am confused, all of the M-151 seats fold up. The only difference between the A1 and the A2 is the A1 has brackets on the fenderwells that the seat frame sets in and it is totally clear under the seat and the A2 has two loop legs, one on either side and no brackets on the fenderwells. The legs do block some of the space under the seat. The brackets pictured above are the stock rear pivot brackets and are the same for all models. If you use those with an A1 seat or an A2 seat with the legs cut off and you fabricate the side mounts for the fenderwlls you will have clear floor space.

Rick,

I am not putting this seat in my m151a1. Ii did not know the a1 and a 2 seats were different. I am using an A1 seat for a garage/shop project.

For the project, I will need the A1 feet.

Ill post a few pic later today to give you an idea of what my goal is.
