Re: Chenowth Advanced Light Strike Vehicle
A friend of mine is going to buy one shortly. That one is a trailer queen and does not have all the right equipment. If you notice even the belt is painted and the paint is not worn off. The paint is not burned off the exhaust and the nibs are still on the tires. They did not use beadlocks when these were in service and they were not in service when sand color paint came in. The shift linkage is rusted to hell and the brake pedal is stuck to the floor. The fenders are also missing. Don't get me wrong, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Then strip it and paint it the right color and actually fix it up and drive it.
I raced a Chenowth in the Baja in the 70's. They were awesome buggies.

Those look like Gates Commando tires. Haven't seen any of those in a loooong time.
Some people are too busy knowing it all to ever learn anything
Re: Chenowth Advanced Light Strike Vehicle
It really needs someone to give it a home and love it.
Re: Chenowth Advanced Light Strike Vehicle
I was thinking the same thing about the tires, couldn't remember the name of them. I would love to give it a home.
