1947 Jeep Station Wagon

Unread post by m3a1 » January 12th, 2017, 12:42 am

Here's another vehicle saved from the scrap pile. Owner has done much to preserve the originality of the vehicle, while leaving the door open for the next owner to take it to the next level. Here it is! Enjoy.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Totally ignore what I was saying about engine swaps! That is a super nice (and rare column shift) vehicle. I would certainly hope that the next person keeps it in that fully original condition.

How much is he asking for it? Going to have to subtract for the broken surfboard and rust in the drivers door.

I don' know if he is selling it or not. I think it's one of those love/hate relationships that's still working itself out. He considers it a completed project and has done all he intends to do on it though I told him he really needs to get some preservative on that wood strip headliner. Like many of us, he is only happy when he's working towards the objective and then unsatisfied when he has nothing to do. Remember when I got all excited about my fuel pump going out (so I'd have something to work on?) Yeah....kinda like that.
