I've been trying to buy this project for 10 yrs, the time has arrived, 1966 Toronado, 425 rocket, at least it won't be a rusty project, even though the better half has known about me trying to buy it forever, she still had to bitch.

OHBOY! My brother-in-law had one and, as a teen, he beat it like an Army Mule. The thing would do burn-outs like it was on ice! Crazy to watch, it being front wheel drive! I'm excited for you! Pics! Please!!!

Tell her the car is for her and let her do a few burn outs, all will be forgiven. Does she even know about the last 151/718?

Look at those turn illuminators! They're bigger than the headlights! :D

Big enough to have it's own Zip Code!

Jay Leno did a show on one. Enjoy!

That one is just a tad modified from stock! It did not mention the engine but I saw twin turbos under there. And rear wheel drive.

She knows about the M718, that is a nice ride Jay built, at least he left the lines alone, my dollar ratio to his is 1 vs. 1,000,000.

Jay has been known to say on his shows many times that he has more money than brains when it comes to his cars. But at least he is not afraid to get dirty. I remember one episode where one of the cars he was driving broke down and between a phone call to his mechanic and a multitool borrowed from a cameraman he managed to get it going again and off he went. No instant tow call, just fix it and go. How much is the man worth?
