M151 at car show

We went to a local car show with about 50 entries and was pleasantly surprised by what we brought home. We go to about 24 parades and shows a year and have gotten 24 either plaques or trophy's over the time we have had the jeep which is now about 3 years since we have it finished. The trophy in front of the M151 was for the "BEST IN SHOW" , needless to say some of the guys in there fancy, dancy cars where not very happy, guess they will have to get over it.

I may be partial but that would have been the first vehicle I checked out at the show :D Congrats on the win, that is one fine jeep.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments, it is much appreciated. That is the same year model that I drove while serving in Germany from 63 to 66 and I put my unit makings on it that I served with. We have entered many shows some have a military class but very few, when they do we do good, some that don't we have done well in the "other" class, but I really don't care as I like to go and be able to visit with the veterans that come by to check it out. Thanks for sharing...I too bring my Mutt to the parades and shows, and received some trophies, but the best thing is having VN and other Veterans stop by and visit . That's all worth it ! By the way, when they do not have a Military Class...I found success placing it in the "Stock " Class !!!...AND IT IS STOCK !, Seabee

That bad boy must have been the star of the show! I would have loved to be there and see it from up close.
