Re: USMC Growler - M1163
One major thing I notice on these compared to a mutt. The curb weight. They are TWICE as heavy!!!! Smaller and twice as heavy. Seems to me that is contrary to internally transportable.

Hey, I would love to have one, If I lived down your way and had miles of nowhere to play in like you do. I also would not be willing to pay what these are going to go for. I will bet these are going to go for HMMWV prices. Rich boys toys and I am far FAR from that class!

My brother in law and I have been looking at these for awhile. Starting bid was $5k, ok seems like we have shot. Ending bid around $22k, and there goes the dream. They are slick units and have stretched 4 seaters available. Didn't General Dynamics get a hold of some A2s and make some bodys in the early 2000's

Re: USMC Growler - M1163
Nobody has made M-151 bodies other than the aftermarket since production ended somewhere in the late eighties I believe it was. The aftermarket bodies were made on real frames and were welded, not unibody construction. Pretty sure Encore was the last of them in 2000.
