A couple years back, I was doing some research on my father's time in Vietnam. I happened upon Texas Techs Center and Archive. Some of you may be aware of it but for those who are not there is tons of information (written, audio, & video) stored here and viewable by all. There are 80,000+ photographs listed and searchable by key words. Here is a link to the photo area. Try m151 or jeep and the additional photo filter and you will probably see quite a number of pictures that you have not seen before on the net.

Cool Pics, did anyone catch the blue jeep? only blue I've seen was Civil Defense vehicle??

hambone, i can't figure out how to post pics here anymore, but i have a pic of an M151, painted that shade of blue, marked for the dept of defense. richard nixon is in the passenger seat. i think, but am not certain, that the pic was taken on johnston island. if you want the pic, PM me with your regular email address, and i will send it to you.
