I saw this yesterday, a nice documentary, solely concentrates on the Humvee. I do not like that, they emphasize that the Humvee is perfect, yet nothing is. Ask the guys serving in it!

Isnt that the owner of Beachwood Canvas evidently he wasnt aware of all the incorrect facts the narrator was spewing, wish I had ne one of those M38's(while showing a M38A1) with the six in it must be why they are so hard to find, History channel really blew on the fact checking. But great footage of the prototype M151. Scott out

The Series 5 concentrates on the Humvee, whereas 1-4 bring around how the need for a jeep arose and what all was done to get to the 'greatest jeep ever built so far, the Humvee'

I only made it half way through that episode 4, before I got so pissed I hit the button. My first rant would be about General Halfwit. 7 rollovers and "it wasn't the drivers fault, it was the jeeps fault". That was obviously a slow fragging in process that never quite worked out for the best. :) How is it the old saying goes, doing something the same way and expecting a different result = insanity. History channel should be ashamed of that piece of trash. Now turn the volume down and it's not nearly as offensive. I'll quit now and let someone else take target practice on that pile of incorrect facts.
Thanks for the post though Sam. Glad you brought it to the forum for review. We should give it to "Lock and Load" for ole Gunny to take target practice at.

Not a chance. I just spent a couple weeks in an MRAP operators and maintenance course and these new vehicles with their automatic transmissions, air conditioning, integrated tire inflation systems, and communications systems are much more complicated than our beloved MUTTs.
