I don't know what truck has the worst roll over rate but I do know that I like your M151A2. It is truly an inspiration for me. A buddy of mine is in Afghanistan and he has mentioned that the MRAPs have a high roll over rate and are pretty much road bound due to being so heavy. Don't think I'd kick one out of the drive way for leaking oil though  .

What is directly behind your jeep :?: I can't quite make it out, but looks like something is suspended between the jeep and the trailer.

The MRAP has a much higher rollover rate. It's also so tall that it constantly knocks out power lines. They began running pvc up the corners to try to push the wires over them, like the photo bellow, but that only works some of the time.

Thanks for the pictures. I'm partial to MUTTs with a "tow bar" on the front bumper...heh, heh.

Wow! What a contrast, good shots Jim.

Raymond I think that is the convoy sign.

Not to sure about this (modern stuff is all greek to me) but I think the behemouth sitting behind DiamondJim's mutt is not known as an MRAP. Is it a "Cougar"? Maybe "MRAP" is a catch all term like "deuce" being used to describe any 2.5 ton 6X6 or "jeep" to describe anything that's not a deuce :? (Dodge owners will get this).

Francis Marion, That's a nice photo of an MRAP.

MRAP is an acronym for Mine Resistant Ambush Protected, and is used for a whole family of vehicles - among them the Cougar. You can read more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MRAP_(armored_vehicle)

Hope this helps.

The First one is called the MAX PRO made by IH. The Second one is the next generation for the MRAP that are Cougar size. Cougars had 2 rear doors this one has one big one. We got plenty of them around here. i will ask around next time i can get off the flight line.
