Horn relocated to drivers side to accomodate the big generator. Plenty of sand can be seen at the base of the cowl

Have an 80-82 Marine Mutt in the garage with less than 5 K miles on it,uncut no ROPS and pretty pristine, not quite as good as that. The bottom side still has the tar coating. Would love to get some paint to match that weathered look .

Nice!...I've owned 6 USMC A2'S over the years..this one looks great!....I second the motion to NOT restore it....also love the USMC anti-theft mod in the first pic....the gear shift lock instead of the heavy chain..I've also noticed all of the USMC M151's Ive owned had their suspensions painted the same color as the body...NOT black like so many restos....the lone Army A2 I own is 383 green with black suspension (actually a black undercoating of some sort).....ED

It was my pleasure to relief Ed of one of those six A-2's. BTW Ed you can technically state you owned an USN A-2 because those markings revealed themselves after careful sanding. Further down past the USN markings were USMC markings.
