biannual transmission change

Unread post by Horst » September 2nd, 2010, 5:15 pm

I don't seem to have too much luck with the take-out transmissions I am using. Guess I get what I pay for. Leaking a lot of oil or being very noisy, the current one doing both. Two years ago at Beltring I got another cheap one, claimed to be a gov. rebuild.

Had some spare time this afternoon so pulled the old one out...

A driveway with a gate and a clean garage!! WOW.

Rick, you are right. That is a Miele bicycle from the late 40s.
