Painted one coat and roughed up for the next coat. All the suspension back in place and off the rotisserie .
Re: Progress pictures 1960 M151
Looking good, you did some serious metal bending, since we last saw pictures of it.

Can you post a pic of the drivers floor pan. I think you used the same replacements that I have and wondered how the drain worked out for yours. The Side panels look great, nice work!

Homerguy, Here are some pictures of the new driver's side floor pan.

Looks great! Someday I'll have the motivation to do a full restoration. But I would need a better MUTT first, and keep driving the one I have. I couldn't be without one for that long.
Keep up the good work!

Nicely done! I hope I can get my welds to look that good. Just remember these jeeps aren't as common as their predecessors and it's more rare to see one at a local car or air show compared to a GPW. The reward is in taking one of these vehicles and returning it back to it's former glory no matter what you had to do to get it done. I doubt that there are many GPW's out there that are 100% original. You can buy all kinds of after market replacement parts for them and no one cares. However still wouldn't be original. I think the folks in the 151 community know what we have and what it takes to get these things restored/reapired especially when it comes to the tub. If it looks like someone took the time to do it right, like your vehicle, no one will give you grief just praise. Keep up the outstanding work.

That looks great!
My father used to tell me, "Son,the difference between a good job, and a great job is paying just a little extra attention to detail."
Obviously, you've paid a lot of extra attention and it shows.
Cheers,
