Good work Joe, come on down! Put that mutt in your trailer and bring her down for the weekend and we can convoy out to the War Birds Museum (maybe 20 miles from my home) http://www.militaryaviationmuseum.org/. Have another mutt owner in the area that wants to go so maybe we can get a group together. After all your mutt does say SHORE PATROL !!!

Thanks for the comments, guys!!!! The Shore Patrol livery seemed like the next logical step for a Jeep with Navy markings.

Since there are several tourist beach towns located nearby, we get to go cruisin' around in the evenings. I opted for the amber LED's up front because they provide better visibility (the Mutt) after dark. Added the (regular bulb) side marker lights for the same reason. I'm keeping an eye peeled for tail light LED's as well, but haven't found them to be available. Kevin at Star Electric keeps me up-to-date when I see him at the East Coast Rally every year.

Clell, we'll try to schedule a Virginia Beach trip next summer and see what happens!!!

Rick, yeah..... it's been a little busy around here with first finishing a motor pool restoration on the M38 (thanks again for the wiring diagram help) and then adding some bling (as Clell calls it) to the Mutt. With any luck, I'll have both Jeeps at Aberdeen next year.

Both? You getting a much bigger trailer? We got to talk to that slacker Amon and get him back there. I got swamped this year with judging!

I wish..... but don't go assuming!!!! But I did the next best thing. A friend has moved just down the block permanently and he's already using his car hauler to help me take both jeeps to events. With luck, he'll be available for Aberdeen. And I agree, Bob Amon needs to join us next year just like in the good ole days. It would be nice if Fil could make the trip as well. And while I'm at it, Clell...... we'll be looking for you too!!! Let's hope....

I think the only reason Fil did not come last year is because he had just bought a house.
