I think I may have come across the only photo of a 151 in service, in Winter Camouflage! :o 8)

Very nice photo there Ken, 8) the one I posted was taken "I think" in the winter of 1962, this was in Germany and most likely while on Border Patrol on the Czechoslovakian Border. The photo is from an album on the 2nd Armored Cav web site and I am trying to get in touch with the poster for more details.

:lol: Hey rick, it was called the "COLD" war! :roll: they couldn't use the top's when out on patrol.

Winter of 1969 the post commander of the 24th Division at Fort Riley, Kansas ordered the removal of all canvas on tactical vehicles. He saved the Army a large amount of money, because the troops started using their POVs instead of military vehicles when going to the PX and general running around.
