CYCC 1st Annual Classic Car Event with Mutts present

Unread post by csmith » April 22nd, 2011, 6:11 pm

Couple of weeks ago my friend who is Commodore of the Caviler Yacht and Country Club in Va. Beach and a Vietnam Viet held his first annual Spring Fling and Classic Car show and asked if I could get some Mutts or MV to attend. Put the call out and Pete & Rivers Thompson of Norfolk committed to bring their early Ford A2. Brought my Cammo 76 A2 and while we were the only MV’s at the show we made a good showing and many folks really seemed to like the rigs. Photos attached, Rivers (Pete’s wife) shown in one of the photos by Her (yes her) A2. Miss Cammo in the background. Sorry I did not have any photos of the other cars but there were about 15 excellently restored classics, T Birds, Vets, Chevys, at the event, most owned by one member. Photos attached (sorry for the delay but as most know Photobucket was down)

Both Rigs, Rivers to the Right, mine to the Left

Rivers rigs, very decked out with VN Garb, looked just off the battlefield!
