Trailworthy M.U.T.T
Here are some pictures of my dads old mutt on various adventures, il get a post going over on the M151 mods page showing all of what he did to his mutt.
Trailworthy M.U.T.T
Great pics. Not what most people on this site would do but still very cool to see what a 151 can do.

You are giving me ideas for the cut mutt I got!!! I notice that there are two different mutts in those pictures, a straight and an A2. I will bet that stream ride was a little cold?
Let me guess, the little guy with the blonde hair in front of the mutt is you a few years ago?

See! I told you guys it could be done. Pure M151 on the outside and awesome performance.
That's what mine was kind of like before it got stolen.

What'd you do to you mutt?
I'm just beginning my mutt project. I'm taking one thing at a time since it's my backup vehicle and i want to keep it running, but so far i've got a front locker, hoop roll cage, and 31" tires. This summer i hope to save enough money to do a diesel conversion using a 1.9 TDI. After that im going to put modern running gear under it using ford 8.8 aluminum diffs, and some more modern and hopefully stouter independent suspension. That's my current plan anyway, we'll see how things actually go

Here is a link to Mutt-Vets build. Really nice work. Keep your eyes peeled for it or even just the frame.
