Raising Money for a Vietnam Memorial in Wyandotte

Unread post by Elvis Presley » July 29th, 2012, 2:28 pm

Just a few pics of my A1 in Wyandotte Michigan at an event to raise money for a Vietnam Veterans memorial. They were very nice and let me display the MUTT inside for the whole event.
I apologized for leaking oil on the floor but no one seemed to mind! Lots of Vets had a good time checking it out.

My latest addition for display is a bit unique - a test sample from a quarry/monument in Ohio that was bidding on the Moving Wall Project. It's a small piece of the Vietnam Wall in miniature.
It made a real impact.

I took a few pics of myself and my girlfriend dressed for the occasion. (and Bella too)

It was an honor to display the vehicle and game me an opportunity to thank quite a few Vietnam Vets for their service.

Nicely done! Both on the display and on finding a girlfriend that's into M151's.
