385th MP Bn M151A1s in Germany circa 1970.

Found this photo while doing online research on US Army in Europe from my time there. Not sure if it's been posted here before, but I thought it was a good image of M151s with black stars and white bumper markings. Also the German polizei-type blue revolving lights which I remember.

Nice looking vehicle!

And I'd definitely pull over for it. Image

I was sure you would have had a siren on it.
I went to MP AIT at Ft Gordon after basic, But never served as one as after the training I went thru OCS and later flight school.

rick, i don't think you would have been happy in the MP's, and you wouldn't have earned a CIB, one of the few badges that actually counts. plus we had to wear funny hats, and carry sticks. oh, i almost forgot, everybody hates MP's, even the ones who only do convoy escort stuff, no garrison duty.

Well.............. I have been a bouncer, a repo man and a skip tracer. None of them is very high on the popularity list, didn't bother me. It was a paycheck. Actually bouncer was a good job when the pretty girls wanted to get in even though the place was full.
