This is a 28 minute film about the 2nd and 14th Armored Cavalry in Germany during the " Cold War " There are some 151s, Tanks and Helicopters. :) Enjoy.

awsome film thank you for posting people dont realize how big this was back in the 60's the us gov spend lot's of money during that time in europe

Watched it too, as I grew up as an Army brat in Germany where my dad served with a Belgiam Army Cavalry Regiment.
He still today tells me stories about the exchanges the units had at Bad Hersfeld's 14th Cav units...

Ya! although it was called " The Cold War " there were some very tense times, I was there in November of 1963 when John F. Kennedy was assassinated, we spent somewhere arround 3-4 weeks sitting in our aleart area with full combat loads waiting for the word to move out! :shock: Thankfuly that word never come!

The cold war was in Germany we always feel.
Our village was razed by US because SS troops did shoot troops at the U.S. troops(WW2).We have found many dud grenades and munition as children, also very many planes with us in Memmingen are crashed in the Woods located

I have this photo in the 1980s as less young manoeuvres in Germany made of the sizes
