I figure the rock incident was a good ass reaming, the last picture....................... I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall of the CO's office for that debriefing! Who got the pleasure of hauling the cable out to that?

I believe the A2 in picture #2 is missing its pioneer tools.

Sorry, Rick... I gotta deduct points!

Dan, I think you mean picture #3. The Gama Goat in picture #2 is missing the cable from the winch.

I don't know about Germany but in Vietnam if the vehicle had the tools on it when it left camp they would not be on it when it came back. Therefor they were usually removed ahead of time to prevent theft. They worked very well in the warehouse when you were stuck in the mud somewhere. The winch cable might have been a little harder to steal.

The driver from the AT platoon, I was in A Co, was showing off to a some new guys in the back. He didn't have much time or money to go to the vil after we got off the DMZ.

That's me by the rock BTW.

Had to go back & look  . One is an early Ford 8) . Personally, I like the M60A2 ("Starship"). Always thought they looked cool with those funky turrets & short gun tubes.
