Re: Photos of Eastwind M151s
July of 2015:
6001 pulling support truck duty for Stagg at the Missouri River 340 canoe race. Small size and crazy good maneuverability meant that in spite of competing against 400+ boats worth of support trucks at ramps that are designed to park less than 30 cars 6001 was generally able to noodle into a primo parking spot when others in big vans were stuck walking a quarter mile to get to the river side. Surrey with the fringe on top look complements of excess camo net sections.
Solo boat start at Kaw Point
Boat and 6001 back (Stagg could not do the entire race due to getting his wisdom teeth pliered out of his head)
Always representin!

Re: Photos of Eastwind M151s
I think I could really get into East Wind. Too bad nothing like that out here on the Left Coast...
I think my M35A2 could be useful but my M151 would be more fun.

Re: Photos of Eastwind M151s
It was not the pulled teeth, it was the PULLING of the teeth that screwed with the plan.
Try as you might, you'll not find many dentists willing to come pull teeth on a canoe in the middle of a race.

Re: Photos of Eastwind M151s
I was a good soldier after having three teeth pulled though.... went to drill two days after surgery.
While in the field running HQ platoon, got a dry socket, and strep-throat, and possibly a mild infection. Stayed through to the end of the FTX though!
That recovery afterward sucked. Wish I had stayed paddling my unstable racing canoe. My abs and core probably would have given out, but it would have been easier overall.

Ok, We'll let you slide this time. Was it a military dentist? If so then you are da man!

No, he was actually a very competent civilian doc. Can't speak highly enough of his skill. Very little extra trauma considering the weirdness of the teeth pulled.

Well I will not touch that one! You are still on our standard insultee list, you have not made the advanced insultee list yet. Someday you may make the elite list, there are only a select few of us on that one, Myself, Raymond, Seabee, Mr. Recovery and Rainman.
