I did, took my sand coloured A2 and only just finished washing the mud off it last night! The weather went from heatstroke-hot to trench-foot wet in less than 12 hours!

As a show it's not what it was (under the new owner) with plenty of gaps in the vehicle and re-enactor display fields and a lack of heavy and tracked vehicles for my liking, but I go for the social side and to hang out with my friends and our toys so will be attending for some years yet. Plus I got to drive the hybrid-M51 Sherman around (hybrid because it has recently been fitted with a WW2 turret in place of the one it should have as an M51).

The new owner only came to a W&P show 2 years or so ago after the show was already in decline having moved site, so understandably has no reference point of what it can and should be. Gone are the years of sitting in an all-tracked-armour traffic jam taking 40 minutes to get into the arena! Understandably he has to find his own way and has his own vision for the future.
