Hey WC,

I'm still planning to come in for 2 days, and rush home for parades on Memorial Day, so you'll see me too man.

Rick, A friend checked into tow vehicle parking and saw no restrictions for tow vehicles, so I think you'll be okay with the trailer. Have to leave the truck and trailer on the civilian side of the parking lot, but is that different than years past? I'm driving my Mountanieer, may have an M-416 trailer in tow for goodies I find. :D

Still have half a room available if somebody needs a place at the Super8. All "The 8'" members can get together for a meal, even if the Bob Amon/Cabell Garbee meal doesn't pan out. If nothing else I'll bring a little propane grill and we can do burgers in the parking lot, or travel to the park Rick has talked about. I don't get a vacation this year, so event weekends are as close to a vacation as I'm going to get.

I'll do my best, I don't know if my co-pilot is going this year so I may fall short in the picture area. Hard to take pic's when you are driving around and BS'ing all day.

Hey Rick,

If your passenger seat just became available, I'm lookin for a seat. That goes for the room too. Bob Amon's palace will be a hard one to fill, sorry to hear he's not going to make it this year.

Rainman
I'll see you there (look'n forward to it)! Have a safe trip!

Rickf,
if you can talk Bob into comming down, how about getting him to come down for Thursday? Depending on how things play out, I'm planing on Thursday but I might just change it (unlikely) to Friday. That way I'd be able to stay longer.

Me and two buddies are driving the 15 hours up on that Wednesday. I hope to meet some of you guys and talk about Mutts. So if you see a guy with the M37 crowd spying on your mutts from across the isle, it'll be me.

I'll be taking reference photos of Mutts and whatever else catches my eye!!

Sad thing is, we are almost the only guys from Dixie Division to make it this year. I think we had 15 or so last year. Times are changing for the worse, I fear.

Hey Rick,
Yep I did, but that was on the phone  I'm calling today to change my reservation to Thursday night and Friday night at Super 8 in Aberdeen. I should be be pulling in Thursday just after lunch time, and leaving Sat evening to get back. That allows Sunday to prep for the very busy Monday parade schedule, and flag raising ceremonies. A pretty tight 7 event schedule, sometimes I only make 5 of them on time, but I try my best. There are also snacks after the 3rd parade, a meal at the American Legion, a meal at the VFW, 2 more cemetery Taps ceremonies for family and close friends, and a cookout later in the afternoon. That'll put me over 200lbs! Maybe I should be walking at Aberdeen for the exercise, and let somebody else drive my A2 while I walk the parades:?: I think I could write a book on "what Memorial Day means to me". Lots of memories, lots of tears, it's a very special day!

And don't forget, your hair grows back and your abs get tighter. With a mutt, M37 and a ferret I'm a virtual adonis! With "virtual" being the operative word there   .
