Auction friday, August 13th. Event saturday, sunday August 14/15 2010. Chet Krause is auctioning his jeep/mutt collection (no reserve) many variants available. Great show by re-enactors, WWII and Vietnam.

Is there a listing on what is in the collection being auctioned off? We'd all like to see what's going to be sold, and how much it went for in the end. Iola is always a big show from what I've heard. Your going right?

Thanks for the links, Rainman. Aumann auctions sent a copy of the catalog to MVPA members, kind of late, I got mine tuesday and leaving to go there on thursday. Chet has been a good friend for years and sorry to see him auction all this stuff. BUT he will probably help a local group out with a large donation after the auction. I know some of the previous owners personally and maybe they can get thier jeeps back. It is an International auction so this collection will probably be scattered to many countries. Hope I can get close enough to hear the selling prices. Know some of the bidders and my fear is that with the foreign exchange rates some things may go high in US$. Always a good show, always a good time.

Chet Krause auction done and gone. WWII HMV's went high as expected, M series went low. An M38A1C went for $7500 w/106 RR, M151 $8000, M151A2 $5000, M151A2 w/106 RR $20,000, 416 marine trailer $500, mity mite marine trailer $2500. All in all, modern jeeps sold below fair market price.
