We spent this past weekend (July 4th) riding the trails and doing some more clearing, etc. We have a few more trails ready for this year than last, including some on the lower elevations of the two mountains that border the property that we can ride on with the larger trucks...so we know that the M151s and the 5/4 ton trucks will have no problems.

As usual, we also have some technical trails up on the mountains, some easy fireroads and county roads to ride upon, and the truck games in the big field on Saturday while everyone waits for the Eastern NC Style BBQ to get cooked... :)

The event is located in Syria, VA, 22743.

Last time I checked, we had over 39 miles of trials to play upon, not including the fire roads and county (mostly gravel) roads around the farm/resort/camp area.

Two weeks away, I know a few of you said you were going, who is still on that list? I have been preparing since April, it would be nice to see someone from the group there. Unfortunately I will not have the 151 this year but I will be there.

Rabbit, come on!

In 2013 I drove 870 miles with my M151 on a trailer in just one direction to meet MWMutt and Horst, to join them for a marvelous Alps Tour. And we drove around 500 miles in the French and Italian Alps area. I'ld like to take my M151 to VA - but shipping is to expensive. :o

Unfortunately I have to organize a rally on August 30th here in my region. As I mentioned to Cabell last year, I'm dreaming of joining his rally. Perhaps in 2015? Oops, MWMutt is planning a new Alps Tour in 2015, too. :D

Have a lot of fun :!: :!: :!:

Just an update:
The camping field is ready, the trails are ready...
The shirts are ordered and we are awaiting the screenprinter to finish them (should be done this week...).

You still have time to register...
You can also just show up for all or just a day, just check in at the registration tent and let us know that you are on-site...

It's looking to be a great weekend with a nice blend of historic Military Vehicles and antique civilian 4x4's.

RickF's spot has his name on it...

I have seen you drive... :)
Easy, breezy... Use the alternate entrance and not the one by the trout pond (you have a PM reply).

I'm in! Coming up with my son Ian and Dog Gunnar on Friday, leaving mid day Sunday. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Going to try to convey up with Blake from Portsmouth.
