I plan on trying to go there and check it out on Saturday. Was hoping to be there on Friday too, but that weekend camping trip got cancelled due to another antique car show going on the same weekend. My bud with the motor-home is going to the antique car show instead and wont start the Tannehill camping trip till after that antique car show is over... Oh well...

If you run into Lamar Rowland tell him I said hello. I was going to trade my 151 for his 923 but we could not get the logistics worked out.

I sure will, Maybe I'll get a chance to see a member or two while I am there.... I just wish I could make it Friday as well, I have no idea why they would have it on a Friday anyway, without the possibility of it lasting until at least Sunday and be able to make a weekend out of it, but I do hope to be there Saturday and see what they got going on. I have heard that it is a good show and usually has a good turn out for around here anyway.

There wasn't many folks there selling parts, etc, and I didn't see any vehicles for sale. But I did see that willys with full canvas top go for a ride with a female driver, and a guy on the passenger side. "when they got back" the guy got out, laid right down on the cold ground and kissed it, and chanted on about solid ground and all that... LOL

Well I wish some of the shot's didn't have the sun spot's, it was hard to get the right angle on some of them that early with the sun so low in all the wrong places... LOL.

I couldn't retake them later on, cause my stupid batteries dies, and when I put in some brand new batteries, the camera would not even turn on. But the new batteries worked in my flashlight, so maybe the camera just got too cold or something, or they were not powerful enough to run a digital camera, I dunno... LOL

Rick, I think 5 pictures up from the bottom photo, you see a few folks standing out in front of some tables and some 5 ton trucks. There is a lady with a light blue jacket on at the far left of those people. Well, hidden from the actual photo, is a guy in a gray jacket, I didn't realize it at the time of the photo, but the guy in the gray jacket, just behind someone in the fore ground is Lamar Rowland.

Yep, That would be him. I can't see him but I can see Jewell, his wife and their M109 box/camper conversion on a 5 ton truck with the 105 trailer. That would have been his vendor spot.

I like the 151 with the pack hanging from the fording exhaust and it was running!

LOL, I for one would not have my Alice pack hanging from my fording pipe while it was running...
It was running for quite a while too. I don't remember the gentleman's name that owned it, and it purred like a kitten too, he ran it around a bit while I was there. No clicking sound, no roar, no clattering, not even a vibration sound. That thing sounded like a new car... I was impressed... and sup-prized that the Alice pack made it without getting heat glued in place... lol.
