Is there a manual of the IR lamps?
Or does anyone know how many ... NM the lights are?

Re: IR lamps
very uncommon to have IR lights on a jeep. But tracked vehicles have them. I would start looking for the info there. Why would you need the wavelength?

I want to experiment with a small CCTV camera and a little display. So the military IR headset replace to a screen and camera;-)Horst wrote:very uncommon to have IR lights on a jeep. But tracked vehicles have them. I would start looking for the info there. Why would you need the wavelength?

I'd be interested in seeing your results. It sounds like a neat project.

Re: IR lamps
I have a set of IR lamps someplace. I also have a cheap second gen night vision scope. It is about useless for seeing anything unless you turn its IR light on then you can see about 10 more feet.
I have always wanted to dig out the IR lamps and see how much farther I could see with the scope.
