Wiring question

Unread post by Bucolic » November 23rd, 2016, 8:34 pm

What is the proper name for the plug and wires that mounts in the left rear fender for a trailer? I don't know exactly what it's called and I need one. Mine is a real mess. Does anyone have one that they would be willing to part with?

That would be great. I don't need the spring loaded cover, I have one that's in excellent condition, just need the wires with the plug.

Kia Ora

One further question on the rear trailer plug?

Does the plug mounting flange attach to the body from inside the rear mud guard or does the plug mounting flange attache on the outside of the rear guard with the spring loaded cover? I was having a look at mine today while dissasembling my Mutt for chemical stripping and wanted to know correct way to refit trailer plug when it comes to putting it all back together again.
