Front Crossmember Mounting Hardware

Unread post by hondo100 » February 22nd, 2017, 2:30 pm

I've searched the 20P and 34P manuals and the forum with no luck.... Can anyone point me to where I can find the part numbers for the front crossmember mounting hardware?

Thanks

TM 9-2320-218-34-1 talk's about and show's it in section 9-7 Front Suspension & Drive Assembly Removal & Installation but, they don't give the size or part numbers for the bolts, not sure where to find it other then someone having them out and able to measure them for you.

Hondo, here's what I can tell you.
Bolt, Machine, p/no. 8754891 1/2". I've checked all my versions of the -34 and -34P but the actual length of these bolts is not stated. You are going to have to make an educated guess as to the length.
However, there's a bit more of a clue when it comes to the nut used. The description says: Nut, plain, hexagon, p/no. MS51968-15, 1/2"-20 UNF-2B.
So the bolt is 1/2" Diameter and the thread is as above. From this you should be able to obtain your hardware.
Hope this helps....
Ken
Kind regards....
