Are there better places than CL and on line sales places to find fixer uppers? I have wanted an M151A1 since serving in the Army Reserve during Viet Nam. Where can I find literature on the history of the mutt. Thanks in advance. tumblereed

Craigslist, Ebay are the places that they usually show up. You have to be real careful when you go to purchase though due to the multitude of hidden problems that a 151 can have mainly in the rust department. If you find one be sure to come here armed with pictures so we can give advice on whether it is a keeper and if the price is in line. One strong suggestion, do NOT say where it is located in the post because this is a public forum and someone could jump your sale. It has happened many times. If you want one of our members to look at if they are nearby just send them a PM and they will most likely be happy to check it out for you.
