Well, That went nowhere! A search for surfacezero.com came back to a blank page and a search for "surfacezero" comes back to a prompt for "do you mean "surface zero". No photo services, nothing.
Back to square one.

Surfacezero.com brings a g503 photo hosting site where people apparently still upload stuff to!

A few minutes ago I uploaded a picture to surfacezero. It's a good facility with no ads and no blackmail or extortion :D
For those of you who used Photobucket, you'll have to get used to the fact that it isn't a "drag-and-drop" service like you are used to using.

The problem is that it is linked to the 503, this may or may not cause issues down the road since that was set up mainly for them.

Photobucket just sent me another e-mail telling me that some of my services will be restricted unless I pay the ransom. No kidding? I sent them a reply, GO F*** YOURSELVES!!!!!!!!

I wonder just how many people are actually paying? It probably only takes about 5% to keep them in business and the rest of us are screwed and we don't even get the pleasure of seeing the bastards go down.

A member just put up a test photo using this on the g741.org site. Looks promising.

Man, this app is SWEEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go to the restoration section and look at the group of pictures I put on the green thing thread. I did that entire group with ONE CLICK! Uploading is just as easy. I love this place. The one issue I see is that if the original is over 6 or 8 meg then it will be too big to upload. In that case I just crop it with Microsoft Office picture manager I think it is. I think we found a winner for now. This app can be embedded in the site so it can be made like Steel Soldiers where you just do the entire process from computer to forum in one shot. I sent the info to Moose and we will see what happens.

They reinstated my old pics in photobucket it looks like, for how long I don't know. They kept sending me the e-mails telling me to upgrade and I told them to go f*** themselves because they had blocked all my stuff for 8 years of FREE service. I told them if they want to block it from now forward and charge me then fine but do not block what was free with NO RESTRICTIONS before. We will see how long it lasts. I will try to get fresh pics up as much as I can since I doubt it will last long.

Here is the email I got today from photosucksit

Uh-oh! Your Photobucket Plus subscription has expired. Your account has reverted to Free status. Simply renew your Plus subscription to enjoy extra storage, an ad free experience and unlimited bandwidth.

Now the best part, Here is the message I got two days ago from them. I guess their weeks only have two days in them. And they want me to send them money and trust them. This is one giant scam operation now. They are going to get as many people to pay as they can and then disappear.

Wow! Time Sure Flies!
