Possible accidental bans

Unread post by rickf » November 16th, 2017, 7:54 pm

I have been doing my best to keep the spammers at bay and still try to keep the registration open. This has been a losing proposition since I do not have total control of the site and server. I have been making changes as much as I can in the control panel and banning the ip addresses of the spammers. It appears I may have banned the ip's of some of the members as well. Ken is one of them. In the process of trying to reverse all of that the server ran out of memory and locked up and will not let me continue to reverse the bans. If you or someone you know was banned it was not on purpose, (unless you are a spammer) and I am working on rectifying the problem. I have to wait for the site owner to get back to me since it is his server that this is all on.

I'm still here Rick ..... Seabee

Yea, I have to keep at least one person I can kick around on here.  It's funny because I was clearing out all of the inactive members that joined but never posted from several years ago and what do I run across? A username seabee! Had to look twice before deleting it.
