Getting everything ready to crank my 66 M151 when the weather breaks. What batteries do I need to perform and fit correctly?
Thanks!

Well, If you have to have the original battery you can get it here. But very pricey!!!! https://www.dlbensinger.com/product_inf ... ts_id=1237 Or, you can do what most of us do and that is use the same battery that most Honda Civics used through the 90's, a group 51R. It is just a hair smaller both ways but a little packing takes care of that or you can reweld the hold downs and then they look totally original. On top of that the 51R has about double the power of the old batteries, modern technology wins here.

I have had to replace batteries in 3 cars in 6 months, did a lot of research, Walmart best price and warranty by far. Doubt I will ever buy a battery anywhere else if they have what I need. Look there!

Another battery tip:
Consider valve regulated sealed lead scid batteries.
AKA AGM style
Better performance , longer life and best of all no spilled acid to rotthe battery box floor!
ExideYuasa both make51 R
The military actually has 2HAGM made by C&D but kind of pricy
