Re: Delusional Sellers
The first one is in a warehouse full of large diesel engines so I would guess he is used to those prices. That is extremely low price for a diesel. The dump truck is an Encore frame and front part of the body it looks like. Look at the front fenders and composite light setup. And the last one, Ron, didn't you have one of those kits?

yes i do have one, rick. it's complete, including the vestments. it will be here for when the priest comes to give me last rites. after that, it's headed to a museum i know. i also had one of the earlier suitcase types, but that is already in a museum. sold it last year.rickf wrote:The first one is in a warehouse full of large diesel engines so I would guess he is used to those prices. Re: Delusional Sellers
the suitcase type is more valuable than the soft bag type. it went for 650. they were glad to get it. the bag type usually goes for 350-400, depending on condition, and how complete it is. this guy is stringing one heck of a story line, but i'm not buying it. his set is missing a lot of stuff.rickf wrote:I'll bet you didn't get 2500 for it.

Re: Delusional Sellers
the thing that bugs me is when the seller posts all pictures of the nice paint, tires, accessories, top, dash, engine,etc....but no pictures of the underneath of body or chassis....to me that type of ad stops the sale....
slowest mutt east of the missippi..

The U joint thing says - Lot of 4 Wheel - what ever that means. But if you really got 8 U joints that would be about $38 a U joint.

Okay, sorry I must of missed that part of 4. He should have showed all 4 imo.
Still not really a bargain. (my 2 cents) Oh well, Carry on.
