Just bought a M151a1

Unread post by Lisamsu80 » April 17th, 2018, 6:57 pm

Hi my husband just bought a 1964 Kaiser-jeep Corp M151a1. It has all the data tags and looks original except at one time it was painted white. Is there any way to find out where this one has been? It was manufactured in April 1964 and has an inspection stamp next to the date. He is going to restore it although it seems to be in good shape. Has been stored and used little for the past 30 years. Any help is appreciated as we are newbies to this arena. Thanks!

Welcome new MUTT fans :D , get the info off of the data plate and off of the BUDD tag on the firewall above the engine, Ken(muttguru) can tell you more about it. Ask all the questions and as mentioned earlier, post some pics, most parts are still readily available. One of our members(lpcoating) is producing replacement body panels if any are needed. Hambone
