Mileage

Unread post by Bucolic » April 23rd, 2018, 9:22 pm

I drive my MUTT daily, taking my grandson to and from school. He gets a big kick out of it waving to his friends. They all think I cool that he's riding in a real ARMY jeep. What I'm wondering is, what kind of mileage are you guys getting that are using your "trucks" for daily drivers?
I've never checked mine but I feel I ought to.

I think most are getting around 15-17 MPG. The Army specified that a vehicle had to be able to go 300 miles on a tank of fuel. I don't know if I would try to stretch it that far.
