Re: Sunday 151 Ride
The last official ride for 2020. We hauled the A2 to Rausch Creek off road park. This is a biannual event from the Steel Soldiers site. We met some new people and had a good time.

Re: Sunday 151 Ride
The 151 driving season is over for the year. Looks like we put about 1,677 miles on the A2. Pre-Covid we did about 3,000 per year. New this year were Graves Mountain and Rausch Creek which were great events but very low mileage. Every time we take it on a journey, someone will tell me a story of when they drove or were around them in the service. The expression on little kids faces as you drive by is usually priceless. It usually brings a smile to peoples faces when they see it. Pretty cool stuff! I'll be pulling the power pack this winter and doing some other PM work for next year. I'm already looking forward to it.

Re: Sunday 151 Ride
thanks for the cool thread, love the pictures.
I moved and the 151 is now downstairs in the garage. No excuse anymore to not use it, so I did not declare the end of the season yet...

well, not exactly a Sunday 151 ride but took the jeep out for a short spin to charge the batteries and make sure the tires are not getting a permanent flat spot from sitting

Re: Sunday 151 Ride
Cool post Guy, great times. Right its always a joy to take the 151's out, car honks, waves, thumbs up, and the vets that come up and chat. Glad to be able to preserve a part of military history, plus damn good off road vehicles!!
Horst that is a very cool fire truck, does it run?

Re: Sunday 151 Ride
same here but I have no idea who owns it or what the plans are. Someone started working on it but it sits now like this for years.
On a different topic, when comparing my 151 with the pictures from Guy, I think I need to spend the money to get NDCCs instead of the NDMS I have.
