How early is early for early parts?

Unread post by Refit1701 » September 23rd, 2018, 6:20 pm

I just bought a truck delivered in April of 1962 (thanks Muttguru) and have been collecting parts and disintegrated bodies for a number of years.

I have an "early" three rib hood, a flat topped air cleaner and the adjustable seats with the knobs. Would it be correct to use these parts on this jeep or is it not early enough?

Your parts would all be correct for that vehicle. Along with single horn hood latches, Windshield with the four vents and the metal and canvas hold down bumpers and I think even the original style front bumper.

Refit1701,

I have two April of 1962 Ford's that I bought recently. I am going to PM you. I wanted to compare registration and frame numbers.
