fuel lines
Is it essential to use metal fuel lines from the fuel tank to the fuel pump?

Re: fuel lines
No. Use a quality fuel line though. I might recommend using short lengths of bent line for the sharp angles such as going around the transmission cover and passenger footwell, and use the flexible line for the longer straight pieces/non-critical bends.

Re: fuel lines
I use some metal and some not without problems but I will have metal made up for all lines as flexible lines are harder to keep off/away from hot surfaces.

Re: fuel lines
If you have a non emissions A2, Army Jeep Parts has a complete fuel line set for around $120.00.
