Stamped in battery compartment "Run # 7"
I am removing the battery compartment bulkheads on my April 1962 M151 so I can repair the floors. I found "Run # 7" stamped on the back side of the forward battery bulkhead. I thought I would share this as I wasn't personally aware of this being stamped on M151's beyond runs 1 & 2.
I thought this may be a way to help others date the prodution dates of their bodies, if their original data plates are missing.
Here are some pictures of the "RUN # 7" stamping.
I just checked my other M151, also an April 1962 production, it also has, "RUN # 7" stamped on the same place. The manufacturer serial numbers for both of these vehicles are 2D1843 and 2D2032.

How good is the metal around your floor drains? Might want to save them and weld back in the new floors, that is if you want to stay original.

Hambone,
I am going to save the drains just as you suggested, then weld them into the new floor pans. I appreciate those early details like you do.
I am fabricating the rotted part of the bulkhead right now. After seeing that, "RUN # 7" I decided to save it too.
I'd like to hear if anyone else has run numbers stamped on the forward battery bulkhead, by the passenger's side battery mount, where the J bolt hooks in.

You know that CMD makes that part, you could get the part and cut off the section you need and it would be a perfect fit. I will have to check mine for the numbers, mine is a 64. It is going down into the single digits for the next week so it ain't happening anytime soon!

Rickf,
I am looking forward to hearing if yours has numbers in the same location.
I know CMD has this panel, but I was impatient and wanted the challenge of fabricating the rotted lower part myself. I am buying my floors and a few other parts from Guy at CMD though. He has awesome stuff!

Well, That is on the inside which means getting the mutt out of the very tight garage and outside and then getting the seat out and probably a battery so it is going to be a while.
