I was thinking of Chase'em back tools, they have the dies to repair the damaged threads on steering shafts, etc.

If you are talking of 2 nuts that are about 1/2 the thickness of a regular nut and you lock them together, then just about any good hardware store can help. If not the hardware store, try Fastenal. They have just about anything you would need.
If not the above described nuts, please come back here and describe better.
In my mind a jam nut is one locked up against another, in many cases the half sized ones I described above.
