Rick, I've been a Ham since 1974. You can go to http://www.city-data.com/aradio/ . There you can do a search for your friend if you know the state and city where he is located. For instance a search shows My info is shown as follows Call Sign: KB4SX, Licensee ID: L00870657, Grant Date: 06/11/2014, Expiration Date: 07/20/2024, Certifier: John F Adams, Registrant: John F Adams, 611 Hodges St, Hahira, GA 31632
