New Wheels - In as Close to OD as Toyota Makes

Your mileage should improve as the motor breaks in. The problem is that as someone gets used to a vehicle they tend to push it harder thus negating the better mileage. I don't know what the figures were for a 96 Ford F250 with the 7.3 diesel but I get 17-20 empty and 12- 15 loaded with a trailer. That is with 250,000 miles and the original injectors. Winter fuel also drops your mileage.
