Veteran's Day

Postby moose53 on November 8th, 2009, 5:28 pm

They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them...

Wishing all a good Veterans Day. Thank you to all who are currently serving, as well as past. I hope you can take a moment during the day where you too can remember your friends and brothers. S/F
MUTT-less right now

Imagine a place where civilians are immersed in a USMC VN-era "course" for 4-days.
It happens at Camp Basilone. US Marines, teaching Marine reenactors.

To each of you who have served before and those who continue to serve today. Thank you for your sacrifice in preserving liberty for another day and may our nation continue to be worth the price paid.

A veteran is someone who, at one
Point in his life, wrote a blank check
Made payable to 'The United States of
America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

Congrats to all who served or are serving. Really great post from Ralph Fuller. Hard to add to his message. Hope that few of those checks are cashed to the max.
