Baios: ooooopa! That’s fantastic! Congratulations, now you need two, a his and her Mutt. You do not need a travel agent. Just come over and enjoy the country. I think we have enough people that would be very happy to meet you and your new wife. Keep us posted.

Hey Baios

Congratulations on you upcoming marriage. :D I think you'll like the USA. If you can read and speak a little bit of English, you'll do just fine. Too bad you aren't coming through the St. Louis area or I'd take you for a M151 ride and take you for a boat ride on the Mississippi River. If you go from New York to Miami, you can see a lot of pretty scenery up in the Appalachian Mountains. If you come to the USA, how long will you be here :?:

Biaos, congratulations, Keep in mind that New York to Miami is a LONG ride! Lots of time and gas. Almost 1300 miles. 2080 Kilometers if I remember my conversion correctly :?

New York is nice to see lots of Greek run resturants. Wifes father ran one there many years ago.

Our nations capital Washington DC. is nice to see also lots of things to look at there.

If you want to do the NY to Miami run plan about two or three days with stops along the way. The whole east coast is very senic.

Congratulations Baios. Your wedding day is incidentally my wife's birthday as well.
I've been to America twice only for 10 days at a time. Lovely place to visit. You're gonna love it.
Always wish I could have stayed longer.

As for hotels if you stay at a chain hotel like a marriot, choice hotels, red roof inns etc you'll have a consistant stay from place to place while the independent hotels may not be as good. Some of the hotels/motels don't give a lot of service but depending on where you stay you can get a good room with comfortable bed, bathroom with shower for a reasonable price...less than $100. for the night. Someplaces will be more some less. It might not hurt to contact a travel agent here in the US for some help and advice. Don't want you staying in a motel 6 in the middle of da hood where your rental car gets stolen and the pimp and his girls are using the room next to yours...lol.

According to my wife Astoria Long Island and Queens NY are where the Greeks hang out. :)

What I ment was in your travel from NY to FL you will stop along the way and in every major city there are good neighbor hoods and bad ones, We just don't want you to get into the bad ones... :)
