Depressed

Postby David on February 3rd, 2010, 11:54 am

Just got the 151 pretty much completely rebuilt/tuned up. Wednesday night last week, I destroyed my left leg. Bolt, plates, metal rod. Out for a while and no driving my jeep for a good while. :(

Ah yes, screws, pins, plates, Been there done that. Several times! You will now be a very good weather forecaster. Don't try to rush the recovery. Things can go from bad to worse, I know it well.

It gets better after a week or so, you get used to everything hanging on you and the pain starts going away as the swelling goes down. It will get better.

They needed some of those nurses in the cardiac unit I was in. Mortality might have gone up a bit but it would have been happy mortality!
