Tactical Nuke Approved USGI Issue Eyeware - RARE

Unread post by mrdibbles » February 18th, 2008, 9:18 pm

Hey Guys-
I wanted to share with you guys the specticles that I have chosen for use when operating my A2. This is a rare pair of vintage USGI issued sunglasses designed to protect M-Series occupants during a tactical nuke detonation. While I will admit freely to making up this outrageous story I absolutely do mean to share my new eye wear with this forum. These are my A2 glasses. That is true. It is also true that I will be telling people at gas stations and convenience stores across greater Austin a story that is very similar to the one I outlined above 8)
Regards,
Matt-

I use to have a pair of those I would use for shop glasses and for light welding. Ok more like soldering.... :)
There is one nut on a M151 that is very difficult to remove.....

Those were very common in machine shops during the 50-60-70's. My dad used to always wear them, and slap me if I didn't ( while in the shop.) I still have a couple of pair.

I like it... Night Vision... Birth Control... I need to weave those into the "story" too. There needs to be several variants depending on who is filling up on the pump opposite me :D

Wearing these glasses.....Does it make your face glow or can you see through bricks?

Only kidding. Don't lose them, they are neat.
