Goats
Hey guys,
These are a few of the last Gama Goat assigned to the 1st Cav Div. I drove one of the first to arrive
in late 1974. Got assigned to a new Goat with 12 miles on it. Exhaust is way too close to the drivers
left ear. Got to swim a few of them and airlift one off a Texas mountain (big hill). In our spare time
we used to see how large a tree we could push over with them. At least till a windshield got broken.
As the old saying goes, "it's all fun and games till somebody looses an allowance". This one belonged
to the 8th Engineers before it went to the museum. You'd think they could find matching vinyl for a
museum piece.
