That sounds really cool. When you say XM151A4 is this a for real army idenification on a project with design specification etc or is it just the nomicalture your giving to it?

I would think anything being built for the military right now would have to have armor and passanger compartment protection and would have to be a diesel with an automatic.

I don't have much money, but I think big. If you ever want to bounce ideas off of someone give me a yell.... :)

I may be misreading this HK... are you suggesting that your design will turn Ford profitable?

"Studebaker talks big but thus far has not taken any real action towards signing any prototype contracts. "

Didn't they go out of business like in 1956 or something?

I don't want you to give away any secerets, but how about some ideas of what your design incorperates?

I'm speaking for HK and me. The answer is nope and for this is several reasons. The main reason is that we don't know whom is looking around in here. The other reason we realy don't know who you or most other G838ers are.

Nothing personal but when you let the cat out the bag seems your mice is gone. This is our mouse and we don't want cats to be pounching on it.

Study didn't go out of buisness they just moved production to Canada because there was no real market here but a good market in Canada. The time frame was late 50's early 60's. However they do have a couple of small offices here in the U.S.

I am a M151 owner for the past 21 years. I have rebuilt Over 15 M151s in that time period and have torn mine down and built it back many times over. I've torn up 151s at DRMO and got sad when I had to tear up the bodys and suspenions. I can look at a part and know what it is and where it goes. I am a M151 fan plain and simple. I own my own leather craft business and being self employed has cut into my play time with my beloved M151. I've taken my M151 off road in places no other 4 wheeler would dare to go and I've driven all over this country in it. Even got hit by a moron and had it roll on its side. My screen name will give you all the information about me you want.

I wasn't asking for trade secrets but just some general information. Nothing personal but after all who are you to come on here and say I've got the next M151 in prototype or design plans or what ever. How do we the members of this list know that this is a for real deal and not the results of somebodies over active imagination. After all we all know that if it is on the internet it has to be true right?

You don't know who I am as well as I don't know you, but that doesn't mean we can't get to know one another and help keep our beloved 1/4 ton trucks on the road and if this is the real deal then help keep them in future history.

Joe here also!
