You obviously did not go to the CMD website and check out the prices?! They are very reasonable.

Reasonable is an understatement. I ordered a complete rear panel for an A-1. Everything, all the supports and braces and the rear panel. Guy hooked me up with a bunch of pictures on how to install it all AND he welded up all the rounded corners for next to nothing. Panel went on effortlessly, I couldn't believe how easy it was.
If I never thanked you Guy, I'm doing it now.
THANK YOU.

No i just called and didnt look at prices, because regardless of what they are, I am going to get the panels.
I would rather pay higher prices for good quality parts any day of the week, so as I said, not complaining. Just wasnt planning on having to spend money on these parts. But it is what it is. Guy was very nice on the phone and will be getting back to me soon on my pricing and everything. So dont take the vaseline comment literally.

Is there any truth that the main frame rails may be reproduced at some point? I know that many, many of us are desperately in need of them.
Thanks

Yes, I plan on making frame rail sections. What area do you need?

I actually need the area from about the firewall, along the trans tunnel to the center cross member. Mine are totally rusting out especially where the cut was and poorly repaired.

We've made some progress with a couple of new parts. With the current issue with photo bucket I'll be posting part updates on our Face Book page:

Another good 151 group that I post pictures, project, etc is:

Got a way for those of us not on FB to see those?
Some people are too busy knowing it all to ever learn anything

I've been working with our tooling supplier for several months trying to come up with a way to form the rib / offset for the dash panel. I wanted to be able to perform this task on our C1 Laser as I did not want to machine a set of dies for our press brake. Well, Amada came up with a solution and I ordered the tooling this week. So we should have a dash panel soon. I also have to get the website updated with some of the new parts that we have.

Guy's parts are high quality and well priced. I just got both of the rear fender tops and side panels welded in place. I am looking forward to the dash panel.

Guy, what progress was made/is being made on producing the entire side panels, wheel well to wheel well? The lower side panels on mine are pretty well crushed by previous owner who believed in rock crawling, and the adjacent panels would be better replaced than trying to splice in the rocker panel with remaining crappy up-turned ends.

We just received the tooling for the cowl bead yesterday. Once that is done I'm working on the side panels.

Well Monicas,

I got my panels in from Guy, and I am beyond pleased. The workmanship is top notch. Highly recommended. Thanks, Guy!

I wonder if making mutt panels/parts is a worthwhile item to do?
